“The perfect blend of luxury, sustainability, culture, & community. The nature, the silence of the jungle, the sounds of howler monkeys, wow. I highly recommend the Lived Mayan experience. What a unique learning experience for my daughter & she had a BLAST watching me prepare our meal by hand & playing with the instruments.”

“I know a lot of folks come here to fish, but if you have any opportunity to do either of the Mayan Ruin sites, do it! Your guide will be friendly & knowledgeable & you will learn so much. The Punta Gorda market tour was wonderful too. You’ll learn a little bit about the culture & see how the market helps to provide for all the locals.”

“My wife & I stayed at Copal Tree for our honeymoon & we could not be happier with our experience. We did multiple half/full-day activities, including the snorkel with the chef, half-day birding, & the waterfall/Mayan ruins tour. These activities took us to beautiful locales, but they really shone because of the guides. At the Mayan ruins, we learned a ton from Jose & got to see the second-tallest stella ever carved.”
