Copal Tree Lodge is located in Punta Gorda, a serene fishing town on the Caribbean coast of Southern Belize. Getting to our eco-luxury resort is part of the experience, whether by scenic commuter flight or a drive through the country.
 

  • 1-hour flight from Belize City to Punta Gorda (recommended)

  • Shuttle service available between Punta Gorda Airstrip and the lodge (included in packages)

  • 4-hour drive from Belize City to Punta Gorda

  • Water taxi services from Livingston, Guatemala

International Flights To Belize

Belize’s primary entry point is Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City. Direct flights are available from major cities across North America, and plans for new routes from Europe will make traveling to Belize easier than ever.
 

Insurance & Documentation

Prepare for a smooth arrival in Belize by ensuring you have the right documents and travel protection. 
 

  • A valid passport is required (must not expire within 90 days of arrival)

  • A return or onward airline ticket is required

  • No visa required for stays under 30 days (U.S., Canada, U.K., EU)

  • Travel insurance is optional but recommended (Muy’Ono Resorts offers plans through Generali Global Assistance)

  • Travelers with minors must bring proper documentation (especially if you're not the listed parent or their last name differs from yours)
