Lodge Information

Your journey to Copal Tree Lodge begins with ease and peace of mind. Explore essential details about the lodge and your stay, thoughtfully prepared to ensure every moment in Belize is seamless and extraordinary.

The Eco-Lodge

  • After landing at Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport, the most convenient way to reach our luxury Belize eco-lodge is by a commuter flight to Punta Gorda airstrip. We highly recommend our All-Inclusive Package, which includes round-trip road transfers from the Punta Gorda airstrip. Opt for our VIP Arrival Experience for a smooth transition, where a Muy'Ono Resorts airport concierge ensures a stress-free connection to your commuter flight.

    Should your flight experience delays or cancellations, please notify us of any adjusted arrival arrangements. For more details on seamless arrivals, email reservations@copaltreelodge.com.

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival.

    • Standard reservations may be cancelled or modified without penalty up to 31 days before arrival (excluding holiday dates).

    • Holiday reservations with arrival dates between December 18 and January 3 may be cancelled or modified without penalty up to 91 days before arrival.

    • Cancellations or modifications made within the penalty period will result in a 100% forfeiture of payment. No refunds are provided for early departures or cancellations during a stay.

    • In the event of inclement weather, reservations may be rebooked within 12 months (exclusions apply for rebooking during holiday dates).

    • For late check-out requests, please contact the front desk.

  • We are pleased to offer complimentary wireless connectivity throughout the lodge, including in the suites and on the canopy. No passwords are required for access. Please note that the signal is strongest in the lobby.

  • Whether you’re traveling with little explorers, adventurous teens, or a mix of all ages, our Belize eco-luxury resort is the perfect destination for creating lifelong memories together. Explore our Family Package.

    Copal Tree welcomes service animals (not pets) with a cleaning fee of $50 USD + tax per day, applicable to service animals only.

    • You can find the pricing for our lodge guided tours, off-property excursions, and spa services on page 45 of our Adventure Book.

    • All lodge guided tours are available daily by request, subject to availability. 

    • Book tours and Spa at least 24 hours in advance for proper planning. 

    • Guide or Captain cancellations due to weather or valid reasons will be rescheduled or fully refunded. 

    • Guest cancellations made 24+ hours in advance incur no charge, while cancellations made less than 24 hours get charged in full. 

    • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in rooms, on terraces, and near any building entrances. A $500 USD cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in rooms. Designated smoking areas are available outside the lobby next to the river tram.

  • Please use your complimentary reusable water bottle at the fill stations around the resort and in your room for drinking water. The tap water at the resort is filtered for cooking, cleaning, washing hands, and taking showers; however, we advise all guests to drink from the water stations.

  • Belize uses 110-volt, 60-cycle electricity, the same as in North America. Guests from North America will not need a converter or adapter. Guests from other regions may require an adapter.

  • If you'd like to leave an additional gratuity for the entire team or a specific staff member, you can do so using our 'Love Box' at the front desk, leave it in your room, or hand it directly to a team member. You also have the option to add gratuity to your bill at check-out.

  • Please inform us of any significant medical conditions or food allergies that may require special precautions during your stay. In most cases, we can assist you in obtaining replacements for misplaced or forgotten medications from a local pharmacy.

  • While rental cars are available, driving is not the recommended method of travel to our eco-lodge for U.S., European, and Canadian guests. Driving to Copal Tree is a great option for travelers coming from Mexico or Guatemala. We offer complimentary lodge parking for overnight guests.

  • Enjoy our convenient laundry service for $20 USD per load. A laundry bag is provided in your room's wardrobe. Simply place your laundry in the bag and leave it near your room's front door for collection by housekeeping.

  • Our housekeeping team provides daily cleaning services to ensure your jungle suite remains pristine throughout your stay. Each evening, we provide a turn-down service. If you prefer not to receive this service, please place the "Do Not Disturb" sign outside your door. Should you have any special requests or preferences for cleaning times, please inform the front desk.

  • Join us in conserving water by reusing your linens and towels during your stay. This practice not only reduces water and energy consumption but also minimizes detergent wastewater that needs recycling within our community.

    Please remember to turn off all lights and air conditioners when not in use or before leaving your room. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. As we are nestled in the heart of the jungle, it's possible to encounter insects or geckos in your room. To minimize this, we recommend keeping the main lights off when you're away, as brighter lights can attract bugs.

Our Farm-to-Table All-Inclusive Package offers the ultimate jungle retreat, providing three farm-to-table meals per day, snacks, and a selection of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, all for one inclusive price.

  • We are committed to accommodating any dietary requirements; simply inform us of your needs. With an abundance of fresh local fruits, vegetables, and corn tortillas, enjoying a vegetarian, gluten-free, or dairy-free diet is effortless at Copal Tree Lodge.

  • As we are nestled in the heart of the rainforest, it's possible to encounter insects in your room. For this reason, we do not provide room service and kindly request that food not be taken to your room.

  • For your convenience, a 22.5% service charge and GST are automatically added to all food and beverage purchases.
